The Maasai Mara has never had a public museum. Visitors watch the migration and the lions, but there has been nowhere to learn how the ecosystem works, how wildlife behaves, what the conservation history is, or how Maasai culture and community conservancies fit together. The Mara Natural History Center was built to fill that gap — for visitors, for local communities, students, teachers, guides, researchers and conservationists alike.马赛马拉一直没有一座自然博物馆。游客能在野外看到大迁徙和狮子，却缺少一个地方系统了解这里的地理环境、生态系统、野生动物行为、保护历史、马赛文化以及社区保护实践。马赛马拉自然历史中心正是为填补这一空白而建 —— 面向全球游客，也面向当地社区、学生、教师、野外向导、研究人员和自然保护工作者。

03Support community livelihoods支持社区可持续发展

Rainwater harvesting, storage, filtration and supply for visitors, sanitation, fire safety and grounds — water-saving by design, in a place where water is scarce.雨水收集、储水、过滤和供水设施，保障游客服务、环境卫生、消防安全与园区绿化；在水资源有限的草原地区，节水与循环利用本身就是环境教育。
